emu Industries started in 2002 after Erik Uunila, owner of emu Industries, graduated college in the field of computer graphic design. He wanted to create a company that offered clean, eye pleasing websites at affordable prices. Since then emu industries has grown to offer other services such as CMS development, web hosting and print design.
emu Industries also has another side to it, offering professional audio services. Beginning in the 1990's Erik began to have an interest in sound & music, this brought him to volunteer his time at his local church (Langley Vineyard Christian Fellowship). Under the direction of John Jenkinson (engineer for Vineyard Music/Brian Doerksen), Erik began to hone his ears to hear beyond just the sound coming out of the speakers. He learned that as an audio engineer he was also part of the band, "Playing" the sound board as an instrument. He has travelled to Indonesia, Malaysia, Europe and all over North America as a Technical Director being in charge of audio, video, lighting, staging and live broadcast.
